Academic Culture and Faculty at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA
- Number of Faculty: The exact number isn’t known, but the college has a decent faculty strength catering to various law and interdisciplinary subjects.
- Quality of Faculty: The quality of teaching varies — some faculty members are excellent and very interactive, while others may not meet expectations. Overall, it’s a mixed experience.
- Attendance Policy: Very strict. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for exams, and it is closely monitored.
- Class Timings:
- 1st and 2nd Year: 9:15 AM to 2:00 PM

Tell us about the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
The college offers a vibrant mix of both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities:

- Extra-curricular:

How are the placements in your college?
Rating: 2.5/5 (Due to lack of transparency and structured placement support)
While some students do secure internships and job offers through their own efforts or external networking, the overall placement support provided by the college lacks consistency and transparency. A more structured and proactive placement cell is needed to ensure better opportunities and career guidance for all students.
How are the hostels in your college?
Hostel facilities are available only for girls, and that too only for the first two years. The hostels are well-maintained, clean, and secure, with basic amenities provided.
However, a major drawback is the high cost, which makes it less accessible for many students. Additionally, there are no hostel facilities for boys, who must arrange accommodation off-campus.
Rating: 3/5
What are the best things you like about your college?
One of the best aspects of the college is its location. Situated in the heart of Noida, it offers excellent connectivity, easy access to internship opportunities, court visits, and exposure to a dynamic legal environment.
Another strong point is the brand value of Symbiosis. It holds a strong reputation in the legal education space, which adds credibility to a student’s profile and helps in building a solid academic foundation.
In your opinion, what are bad things about your college?
- Placement Transparency: One major concern is the lack of official placement data over the past couple of years. This creates uncertainty for students planning their careers and raises questions about the effectiveness of the placement support system.
- Hostel Facilities: Hostel accommodation is available only for girls and is both limited and expensive. No hostel facility is provided for boys, which poses a significant challenge for outstation students who must find off-campus housing.
- Attendance Policy: The attendance requirement is very strict (75% minimum), and even a minute’s delay can result in denied entry to class. While this enforces discipline, it can sometimes feel unnecessarily harsh.
- Sports Infrastructure: The campus lacks its own sports ground, requiring students to rely on the nearby Noida Stadium for outdoor activities. This limits the convenience and spontaneity of participating in sports and physical activities.
Anything else you want to share?
Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA offers a balanced mix of academic and personal growth opportunities. While there are certain areas that need improvement—such as placement transparency, hostel availability, and sports infrastructure—the exposure, discipline, and brand value it offers play a significant role in shaping students’ careers.
The college environment actively encourages student involvement through various clubs, committees, and events, contributing to overall personality development. With greater transparency and infrastructure enhancements, the institution has the potential to become one of the top law schools in the country.
