Tell us about the infrastructure of your law college

We have over 50 classrooms, one library, a good sports arena, and around seven hostel buildings. Overall, I would rate the facilities 4.5 out of 5.

How are the academic culture and faculty in your college?

We have around 8 to 10 faculty members, and they are among the best one can have during their law school journey. The attendance rule is very strict—students must maintain at least 75% attendance; otherwise, they won’t be issued a hall ticket for the exams. The class timings are also well-structured. Since we have a few visiting faculty members, we occasionally have classes on weekends as well. Overall, I would rate the faculty 5 out of 5.

How’s the peer quality in your college? Rate it on a scale of 5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.

Since we mostly follow a residential program, all of us live in the hostels. The seniors are very helpful and supportive. Speaking from my own experience, my seniors have always been there for me—not just with academics, but also with other aspects of campus life. Even my batchmates from other departments are extremely helpful, both inside and outside the classroom.

Tell us about the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities

We have around 8 active clubs, including the Debate Club, E-Cell, and others. In addition, we have several committees such as the Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, Marketing Committee, and Sustainability Committee. Our annual fest, Jamrang, recently held its second edition.

The fest spanned three days and featured a range of exciting competitions like Robo Race, Battle of the Bands, Solo Singing, Quizzes, and more. It also saw the participation of a few celebrities from the industry. Overall, I would rate the clubs and events a 4 out of 5.

How are the placements in your college?

We have a dedicated Placement Cell that manages internship opportunities for both graduating students and those who are still pursuing their studies, helping them gain valuable experience in advance. Almost every student secures an internship as part of their Industry Internship Program (IIP). Overall, I would rate the Placement Cell 3.5 out of 5.

How are the hostels in your college?

We have around 7 hostels, with separate accommodations for boys and girls. Each room has 4 occupants and is equipped with 1 AC, 2 fans, and 2 ceiling lights. Since we have bunk beds, each bed also has its own study lamp. The rooms are cleaned by a sweeper every alternate day. Overall, I would rate the hostel facilities 5 out of 5.

What are the best things you like about your college?

The atmosphere here is truly one of the best for studying and working. It’s a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect for both relaxation and productivity. The scenic surroundings are so inspiring that music students often shoot their music videos right on campus. For the rest of us, it’s common to sit on the grass, chat with friends, and enjoy the calm environment. It’s a space that really adds value to our overall experience.

In your opinion, what are bad things about your college?

Since this is a relatively new university, it’s understandable that some things are still developing, and that’s absolutely fine. However, I believe there are certain areas that could use improvement—particularly the registration process, which can be more streamlined and student-friendly. Apart from that, most other aspects are well-managed.

Anything else you want to share?

This is a great place to work on yourself, as it offers plenty of time and space for personal growth. Whether it’s focusing on your health, building your skills, or planning your career, the environment here allows you to make the best use of your time and truly invest in your development.

How would you rate your college overall on a scale of 10?

9/10
