About the Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Legal Expert to oversee project compliance and regulatory adherence. Conduct legal research, review contracts, and provide guidance on legal matters. Ensure projects align with government regulations, industry standards, and legal best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Oversight & Compliance: Oversee the execution of project activities, including contracts, decisions, and deliverables, ensuring strict adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Legal Research & Guidance: Conduct thorough research on legal issues and regulations pertinent to the project, providing timely legal solutions and strategic guidance to the project team and other stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Facilitate regular meetings with the project team and relevant stakeholders to provide legal updates, address compliance concerns, and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks within the project lifecycle and propose actionable solutions to mitigate those risks, ensuring smooth project execution while minimising legal exposure.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts in Law (BA.LLB), Bachelor of Business Administration in Law (BBA.LLB), or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised institution.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the legal field.
- Experience as a legal expert on at least one project involving the Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), Banking, Financial Sector, or Regulatory Body in India.
