About the Internship:
ICRIER is inviting applications from law students for an engaging research internship under the project titled “Cellular Network SEPs: A Study of the Indian Ecosystem.” This project focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) licensing frameworks—particularly Standard Essential Patents (SEPs)—and their impact on startups, SMEs, and educational institutions.
Eligibility Criteria:

Law students currently in the 3rd to 5th year of a 5-year integrated program or the 2nd to 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. program.

Preference will be given to applicants who:

Have prior academic or practical exposure to IPR or IP litigation.

Possess a science/technology background (such as engineering, computer science, biotechnology, etc.).

Are familiar with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and DIAC (Administrative Cost & Arbitrators’ Fees) Rules, 2018.
