Eligibility & Requirements
- Legal degree (LL.B., J.D., LL.M., or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting, ideally with intermediary liability or content-related legal issues.
- Strong experience in risk assessment, legal guidance, and working with cross-border teams.
- Ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and build compliant, scalable systems.Life at Spotify
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide legal direction on platform liability, takedown processes, and enforcement policies.
- Navigate compliance with online safety frameworks and safe-harbor laws (including India’s IT Rules and Australia’s Online Safety Act).
- Lead content policy implementation, support enforcement operations, and manage sensitive claims and litigation.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Trust & Safety, and Government Affairs to structure scalable enforcement models.Life at Spotify
