Role Overview
We are looking to onboard practicing advocates, lawyers working in law firms, in-house counsels, and legal professionals as part-time Legal Skills Mentors.
As a Mentor, you’ll teach and guide students through practical, skill-based live sessions delivered online.
You’ll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online sessions (90 minutes each) on specific legal practice areas
- Share real-life insights, case studies, and practical frameworks based on your legal experience
- Coordinate with the academic team to design or improve session plans and materials
- Serve as a mentor and role model to aspiring legal professionals
Who Should Apply
- Practicing Advocates (Litigation, Corporate, IP, Tech Law, etc.)
- In-house Legal Counsel
- Law Firm Associates, Senior Associates, and Partners
- Legal Professionals with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Those passionate about teaching, mentoring, and giving back to the legal community
Requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to commit to doing weekly, time-bound sessions at a time of mutual convenience
- A passion for teaching
Time Commitment
- Sessions are held on weekdays (7-8:30 PM) or Sundays (11 AM-12:30 PM)
- Our sessions require strict adherence to the mutually decided schedule
Compensation:
- Rs. 2500 -Rs. 5000 per session (based on experience and subject area)
- Additional honorarium for assignment review, if taken
- If you own a law firm/law office: 2 jobs and internship posts on Lawctopus worth Rs. 40,000/year are available to those who require assistance in hiring (provided a minimum of 20 classes are taken by the firm/individual in a year)
