About Students for Liberty (SFL)

Students For Liberty is the world’s largest student movement for liberty, dedicated to educating, developing, and empowering young leaders who support the principles of a free society.

In India, SFL has empowered hundreds of students through events, conferences, training programs, and advocacy campaigns centered on classical liberal ideas, personal freedom, and sound public policy.

About the Local Coordinator Program

The Local Coordinator Program (LC Program) is SFL’s premier one-year leadership training program designed to develop pro-liberty student leaders. It equips students with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to effectively promote liberty on their campuses and in their communities.

As an LC, you will serve as the face of SFL in your region—organizing events, building local networks, and advocating for change.

What You Will Do as a Local Coordinator

  • Organize seminars, policy discussions, debates, and film screenings on campus
  • Engage in digital and on-ground outreach to promote classical liberal ideas
  • Build and mentor a local network of liberty-minded students
  • Contribute to national campaigns and collaborate with think tanks and scholars
  • Receive training in leadership, communication, public policy, and activism

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university in India (any discipline)

  • Ability to dedicate 4–5 hours per week to SFL activities
  • Willingness to lead and inspire peers

  • Applications Open: 1 May, 2025
  • Application Deadline: June 10, 2025
  • Program Starts: July, 2025
  • Duration: August 2025 – June 2026
