Mahindra University is set to usher in a new era of legal education with the appointment of Dr Jayaram Raghunath as the Dean of its School of Law. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Dr Raghunath brings a wealth of experience from corporate legal practice, academia, and institutional leadership.

A well-regarded legal educator and scholar, Dr Raghunath has previously served as Dean at GD Goenka University and Manipal University, Jaipur.

He continues to serve on the Inspection Committee of the Bar Council of India and has been instrumental in shaping legal education in India through curriculum development, international academic partnerships, digital transformation initiatives, and the implementation of outcome-based learning models.

Dr Raghunath’s appointment signals a transformative phase for Mahindra University’s School of Law. His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in realizing the university’s mission to build a future-forward, globally engaged, and socially responsible legal education ecosystem.
