Ms. K. Decruse, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that an
application under Order VI Rule 17 read with Section 151 CPC has been filed
seeking permission to amend, particularly the prayer portion of this writ
petition.
Responding to this, Mr. D. Dkhar, learned counsel for the respondent
Nos. 6 and 7/Syiem of Sohra has submitted that the respondent may be allowed
to file a response to the application.
Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG appearing for the respondent Nos. 1-3
has submitted that no response will be filed by the State respondent but would

advance oral argument when the matter is taken up for hearing. Learned counsel
for the respondent No. 1 as well as the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.
4 and 5 have also made similar submission and have maintained that they will
not file their written response in this regard.
On prayer made by the learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 6 and 7,
the response to the application filed by the petitioner is allowed to be filed
within the next date fixed.
