1. The present appeal has been preferred under Section 374
of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, ‘Cr.P.C.’) at
the instance of the appellant-convict (original accused no.1) and
is directed against the judgment and order of conviction and
sentence dated 27.02.2006 passed by the learned Presiding
Officer, Fast Track Court, Valsad, in Special (Corruption) Case
No.60 of 2002 (Old Case No.07 of 1994).
