Reason:
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner laid much
stress on the fact that his client is in jail past 13 months.
2
4. However, the learned counsel fairly pointed out that the trial
is in progress. Three witnesses have already been examined and four
more witnesses are to be examined by the prosecution.
5. We do not want to say anything further in so far as the case
of the prosecution is concerned as that may cause prejudice to the
petitioner – herein as well as to the State as a prosecuting
agency.
6. We dispose of this Special Leave Petition with a direction to
the Trial Court to ensure that the entire trial is completed with
Judgment by 31-12-2025.
7. There shall not be any undue delay in the completion of the
trial.
8. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
