Milbank LLP partner Bijan Ganji will be speaking at a program titled “Recent Developments in US–Venezuela Sanctions: Seizing Opportunity & Managing Uncertainty” on November 29, 2023 in Rio De Janeiro, where he will discuss US sanctions targeting Venezuela, with a focus on General Licenses and related guidance recently issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury, and associated US foreign policy and national security considerations. Mr. Ganji, a member of Milbank’s Transportation and Space Group and Global Risk & National Security Practice based in Washington, DC, counsels clients operating or investing across borders on global commerce and foreign investment matters.
