Mr. D. Julius Riamei, learned counsel, appears for the applicant

and Mr. N. Ibotombi, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. N. Savitri, learned

counsel, appears on for the respondents.

The present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant

praying as follows :

“In the premises as stated above, it is respectfully prayed
that your Lordships may be pleased to :

i. Condone the delay of 24 days in filing MC(CRP(CRP
Art. 227) No. 12 of 2024 for impleadment of the
Applicant as Legal Representative of the deceased
Petitioner No. 1 in CRP(Art.227) No. 5 of 2020/to set
aside abatement, if any;

ii. Pass any appropriate order or orders as deem fit by this
Hon’ble . ”

This Court has gone through the reasons given in the

application for condoning the delay in filing the connected MC(CRP(CRP Art.

227) No. 12 of 2024 for impleadment of the applicant as Legal Representative

of the deceased Petitioner No. 1 in CRP(Art.227) No. 5 of 2020 and this Court

has satisfied the reasons given in the application.

The learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents also

has made no serious objection in allowing the condonation application.

Therefore, considering the submissions made by the counsel

appearing for the parties and the reasons given in the application, the delay of

24 days in filing the MC(CRP(CRP Art. 227) No. 12 of 2024 is allowed.

The application is accordingly disposed of.

The Registry is directed to amend the cause title in CRP(Art.227)
No. 5 of 2020.
