Are you passionate about Indian politics, public policy, and making a tangible impact on governance? The Mukherjee Fellowship is a unique, 12-month full-time paid opportunity for young changemakers to work at the intersection of policy, politics, and public service.
This prestigious fellowship places selected candidates in the offices of Members of Parliament, ministers, or senior political leaders, giving them a front-row seat to India’s legislative and political process.
What the Fellowship Offers

Engagement with Political Leadership: Work directly with MPs, ministers, or their teams on legislative research, policy strategy, communications, and constituency development.

Immersive Training: Begin with a 3-month intensive residential training in Delhi, followed by a 9-month office placement across India.

Monthly Stipend: Receive a stipend of ₹50,000/month during the fellowship period.

Post-Fellowship Career Support: Get access to a professional network, alumni mentorship, and placement assistance in public policy, law, development, and governance spaces.
Eligibility Criteria

Must be an Indian citizen

25 years of age or below as of July 1, 2025

Must be a final-year undergraduate/postgraduate student or a graduate

Available full-time from July 17, 2025, to July 2026 (no parallel academic or work commitments)
