The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 166 of the
Motor Vehicles Act, 1989, claiming compensation of Rs.10,00,000/-
from the respondents for the injuries sustained by her in the road
traffic accident that took place on 26.03.2021.

2. The brief facts of the case of the petitioner as follows:
On 26.03.2021 petitioner along with other inmates was
traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-05-B-6231 and at about
9.15 a.m. near Shettinayakanahalli Cross, Nadampalli village,
middle of Chintamani – Chellur road, Chinthamani Taluk, at that
time the driver of the said bus suddenly drove the same with high
speed, in a rash and negligent manner, due to which, back side of
tire damaged, caused the accident, consequent to which petitioner
lost balance and hit her leg over the railing and sustained grievous
injuries. It is contended that, immediately after the accident, she
shifted to Radhakrishna hospital, Chintamani, and for further
treatment she was shifted to Hosmat hospital, Bengaluru wherein
she took treatment for the accidental injuries sustained by her. It
is stated that she has spent huge amount for her treatment,
medicine etc.,
