National Law University Delhi successfully organised Deeksharambh – Student Induction Programme for the Post Graduate Insolvency Program on 23rd August 2025.
The event commenced with a Welcome Address by Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, followed by a Special Address by Mr. Sumant Batra, Chairperson of the Academic Coordination Committee of the course, and President, Insolvency Law Academy. He urged the students to pursue their academic journey with diligence and integrity.
The University was privileged to host Hon’ble Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest. He shared his reflections on the transformative role of legal institutions and encouraged students to contribute meaningfully to the profession, offering thoughtful advice to the incoming cohort.
Mr. Ravinder Maini, Executive Director of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, also graced the occasion and delivered a thought-provoking address on the crucial role of the PGIP course in strengthening India’s insolvency framework.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Risham Garg, Professor of Law, NLU Delhi, who expressed gratitude to all speakers, faculty members, staff, and students for their participation and support in making the programme a success.
