KK Legal’s Real Estate team is inviting applications for the role of Legal Associate specializing in Title Due Diligence. This is a PAN India role ideal for legal professionals looking to deepen their expertise in real estate law, land title verification, and transaction advisory.
Role and Responsibilities

Conduct title due diligence for real estate transactions across India and prepare detailed legal reports

Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell (ATS), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and Conveyance Deeds

Assist in real estate transaction strategy and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks

Provide well-researched legal opinions and advisory on real estate laws

Navigate legal matters concerning:

State-specific Land Laws, Building Bye-laws, Stamp Act, Registration Act

Interactions with government authorities such as revenue departments, municipal bodies, sub-registrars

Conversion of leasehold land to freehold, CLU (Change of Land Use) approvals

Procurement of title documents, stamp duty compliance, and property registration processes

Eligibility
Candidates with a background in real estate legal work and prior experience in title due diligence will be preferred. A strong grasp of land laws and transactional documentation is essential.
