Heard Mr. S. Borthakur, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr.
R. Borpujari, learned standing counsel for the Revenue Department,
representing respondent no.1 and Mr. D. Nath, learned senior Govt. advocate
appearing for respondent nos. 2 to 5.

2. By filing this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the
17 petitioners herein have prayed for quashing of the speaking orders under
Memo No. CPR/2025 dated 21.04.2025, issued by the Circle Officer, Chapar
Revenue Circle; and for quashing of the notice No. DRS.24/2025 dated
12.06.2025, issued by the Additional District Commissioner (Revenue), by which
the petitioners were directed to show cause as to why they shall not be evicted
from the land described therein; and moreover, the petitioners have also prayed
for quashing of the minutes of the Co- District Land Advisory Committee dated
26.03.2025 and 02.04.2025, to the extent of allotting the land of the petitioners
to the APDCL for power project; as well as for protection from eviction.
