About the Programme
The office of Shri Deepender Singh Hooda, Member of Parliament (Rohtak), is inviting applications for its Parliamentary Internship Programme. Based in New Delhi, this year-long internship offers an immersive experience at the intersection of governance, public policy, and legislative processes.
Interns will have the opportunity to work directly on matters of national significance, gaining first-hand exposure to the functioning of Parliament, policy-making, and constituency engagement.
Eligibility

Preferred academic background in Public Policy, Law, or Political Science

Candidates from other relevant disciplines are also encouraged to apply

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Parliamentary Intern, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting legislative and policy research to support parliamentary interventions

Assisting in constituency-related matters and public communication

Supporting policy analysis, drafting briefs, and monitoring developments in Parliament

Participating in public outreach and documentation of governance initiatives

Gaining practical exposure to parliamentary procedures and government functioning
