In response to the notice issued, Mr. Illyas Laway, GA, has appeared
The petitioners in this case are seeking issuance of writ in the nature of
mandamus directing the respondents to fix the pay of the petitioners in the
pay scale of 3050-4590 as paid to other Khilafwarzi Assistants/Supervisors
as per J&K Urban Local Body Institutions (Management) Services
Recruitment Rules, 2008, and other Government Departments etc.,
retrospectively, from the date they are holding the said post and also in view
of the Judgment passed and also direct them to consider petitioners’
representation and fix their seniority as well as give them age relaxation for
appearing in future employment. The petitioners are claiming these reliefs
precisely on the following grounds:
