About the Opportunity
If you are an experienced Patent Paralegal with a strong background in Indian patent procedures, our law firm is the perfect place for you to work. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our dynamic Intellectual Property practice.
Roles and Responsibilities
As part of our growing patent team, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and supporting our clients’ patent portfolios.
- Prepare & file Indian patent applications (Provisional, Complete, Convention, PCT NPE)
- Draft & file Forms (1, 3, 5, 18, 26, etc.)
- Manage docketing & IPO deadlines
- Handle online IPO filings & submissions
- Support attorneys in prosecution & post-grant stages
- Liaise with clients, inventors, & IPO officials
- Maintain records & assist in portfolio reporting
Eligibility Criteria
- 2-5 PQE
- Working knowledge of the Indian Patents Act & IPO procedures
- Familiarity with IPO e-filing systems (Iolite experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail & time management
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience in an IP firm or consultancy is a bonus
