The Petition is filed under Section 166 of the Motor
Vehicles Act seeking Compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- for the
injuries sustained in the Road Traffic Accident.
2. The petition-averments are as under :
That on 31.01.2021 at about 12.00 p.m., the petitioner was
travelling as a passenger in the Bus bearing no.KA-06-D-8145.
When the bus stopped at the Bus-stop near Tubina Kunta
village and the petitioner was alighting the bus, its driver
without observing the petitioner, negligently moved the bus,
causing her to lose control, fall down and sustain grievous-
injuries. Immediately after the accident, the Petitioner was
taken to Balaji Multispeciality Hospital, Hindupur, and was
treated as an inpatient. That she has spent more than
Rs.50,000/- towards medical treatment, conveyance,
nourishment expenses and attendant charges.
