                          Upon hearing the counsel the Court made the following

1. In connection with Case Crime No.924 of 2006, three

persons namely Rajpal, Bhola and Jitendra stood convicted

for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149,

307 and 302 I.P.C. read with Section 7 of the Criminal Law

Amendment Act and also in connection with Case Crime

Nos.968 of 2006, 967 of 2006 and 989 of 2006 for the

offence punishable under Section 25 of the Arms Act

Reason:

respectively, which stands affirmed by this Court in

S.L.P.(Crl.) Nos.560-562 of 2025 vide order dated 17th

January 2025.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State of Uttar

Pradesh confirms that prior to dismissal of the said

Special Leave Petitions, the benefit of remission already

stood granted to the petitioner–Rajpal @ Rajpal Singh, one

amongst the three convicts. It is also not in dispute that

at that point in time, Rajpal Singh stood released from

jail.

3. In this view of the matter, we clarify that the

petitioner–Rajpal @ Rajpal Singh shall not be required to

surrender in relation to the crime in question.

4. Accordingly, the Miscellaneous Application is disposed

of.

5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed

of.
