This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the

respondents to decide the pending departmental appeal

expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioner-a retired employee of the

respondent-Corporation, admitting that the appeal dated

15.01.2024 (Annexure-1) is, as a matter of fact, in the nature of a

representation to pay him the correct pension and balance amount

of gratuity, prays that the respondents be directed to decide the

same as it is pending for a period of almost one and a half years.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for

the petitioner and taking into consideration an order of a

coordinate Bench of this Court dated 02.02.2024 passed in the

case of Pawan Meena versus The State of Rajasthan & Ors.:

SB Civil Writ Petition No.1665/2024, this writ petition is

disposed of in following terms without issuing notices to the

respondents:-

1. The respondent No.1 is directed to pass a

reasoned and speaking order on the

representation (Annexure-1) within a period of

sixty days from the date of receipt of a copy of

this order with its communication to the

petitioner.

Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
