CRL.REV.P. 113/2025

4. The present petition under Sections 438 and 442 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (earlier Sections 397 and 401 of the Code
of Criminal Procedure, 1973) assails the judgment of conviction dated 3rd
March, 2025 and the order on sentence dated 10th March, 2025 passed by the
Additional Sessions Judg-05, South East, Saket Courts, New Delhi in Crl.
Appeal No. 329/2019.

CRL.M.(BAIL) 707/2025 (seeking suspension of sentence)

8. The present application under Section 438(1) of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (earlier Section 397(1) of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973) seeks suspension of sentence and grant of bail to
the Appellant, in connection with FIR No. 296/2017 under Section 354,
354D, 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at P.S. Jaitpur.
In this regard, counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant has been
in custody since 3rd March, 2025.

9. Issue notice. Mr. Hemant Mehla, APP for the State, accepts notice.
Let the Status Report be filed by the next date of hearing, with an advance
copy thereof provided to the opposite party.

10. Let the latest Nominal Roll be also requisitioned from the concerned
Jail Superintendent.

11. Copy of the order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent, for
necessary information and compliance.
