2. Heard Mr. Farrukh Rasheed, learned counsel for the
appellant (husband). Also heard Mr. Shyam Divan, learned
Senior Counsel for the respondent (Wife).
3. The Joint Memo dated 27.01.2025 has been filed by the
parties to the lis, indicating that both have decided to

4. We have considered the above submission made by the

learned counsel for both parties. As can be seen from the
Joint Memo, the appellant is prepared and has acted towards
the discharge of his financial obligations, including share
transactions, in terms of Award dated 10.11.2020 as modified
by the order dated 16.02.2021 rendered by Justice (Retd.) A.
K. Sikri.
5. In view of the above, at the joint request of the
parties, the following cases (mentioned in Para 8 and 9 of
the Joint Memo dated 27.01.2025), are ordered to be
closed/quashed:-
a. FIR No. 0152 of 2017 registered by the Economic
Offences Wing, Delhi Police on the complaint of Ms.
Manali Singhal, and all proceedings arising out of
or connected with the said FIR.
b. CS (OS) No.509 of 2016 [earlier numbered as CS (OS) No.
2583 of 1997] titled Manali Singhal & Anr. v. Ravi
Singhal & Ors.;
c. Execution Petition No.209 of 2000 titled Manali Singhal
& Anr. v. Ravi Singhal & Ors.;
d. EFA(OS) No.16 of 2017 titled Ravi Singhal & Ors. v.
Manali Singhal & Anr.;
e. EFA(OS) No.18 of 2017 titled Saurabh Singhal v. Manali
Singhal & Anr.;
f. Contempt Case. (C) No.60 of 2007 in CS (OS) No.509 of
2016 [earlier numbered as CS (OS) No.2583 of 1997]

6. In terms of the above settlement, the Registry of this
Court would release the amount, as mentioned in Paragraph 3
of the Joint Memo, deposited by the appellant in the
Registry with accrued interest, if any, to the Award Holder.
7. The shares held in the name of the respondent (Manali
Singhal) in the following companies are to be transferred in
the name of Ravi Singhal for which necessary consideration
is already remitted by him to the respondent:-
(i) Secure Meters Ltd. (ii) Manvi Investments Pvt. Ltd. (iii) PI Industries Ltd. (iv) Wolkem India Ltd. and (v) Fimakem India Ltd. 8. The respondent would cooperate in execution of all
documents and take all reasonable steps as may be needed to
effectuate the transfer of the aforenoted shares in favour
of the appellant (Ravi Singhal). This should be done in
accordance with Clause 5 of the Joint Memo.
9. The documents which were seized by the Economic
Offences Wing of the Delhi Police in connection with FIR
No.0152 of 2017 including Original Share Certificates of the

all entities and the Original Fixed Deposit Receipt as
mentioned in Clause 8(b) of the Joint Memo are ordered to be
released by the concerned authority to the appellant (Ravi
Singhal)
10. With this order, the contempt proceedings (Contempt
Pet.(C) NO.109-110/2024 In SLP(C) NO. 10267-10268/2019) and
proceeding in SLP (CIVIL) DIARY NO(S).13684/2019 stand
closed. The Joint Memo filed by the parties is made part
of this Court’s order. The appeals are disposed of in terms
of the Joint Memo dated 27.01.2025. Pending application(s),
if any, stand closed.
