1. Through the medium of the instant petition, filed under Section 528 of
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as ‘BNSS’ for
short), the petitioner has sought quashment/setting aside of complaint bearing
No.839 of 2022 titled ‘Navjout Singh v/s Rohan Sharma‘ filed by the
respondent/complainant under Sections 323, 342, 500 and 506 IPC, against him,
on the ground that the parties to the complaint have compromised the dispute
that had led to the filing of the complaint in question.
2. On the previous date of hearing, notice was directed to be issued to the
respondent/complainant for recording of his statement before the learned
Registrar Judicial of this Court in the light of the present petition.
3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner Mr. Ajay Vaid, Advocate
submitted that the parties have already compromised the matter and the
respondent has also assured to withdraw the pending cases against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he now withdraws from
the prosecution of the instant petition. His statement is taken on record.
4. Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn alongwith
connected application.
