The challenge in the Writ Petition is to the
proceedings issued under Section 6A of Madras
Land Encroachment Act, 1905.
It is contended that the notice was issued
under Section 7 of Andhra Pradesh Land
Encroachment Act, 1905.
However, the final order is passed under the
provisions of Section 6 of Madras Land
Encroachment Act, 1905.
Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on
the decision of this Court in Writ Petition No.5209 of
2022, dated 02.03.2022.
Having regard to the same, there shall be an
interim suspension of the impugned proceedings.
List on 03.07.2025 for counter of the
respondents.
