Prayagraj, August 2025: Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University (RPNLU), Prayagraj, a premier institution of legal education in India, conducted the Orientation Programme for the foundation batch of LL.M. (Public Law) and Ph.D. (Law) scholars. The event marked a historic moment for the University as it welcomed its very first batch of postgraduate and doctoral research scholars.

- Prof. Anuj Kumar Vaksha (University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIP University) traced the evolution of legal research from ancient times to the modern era, highlighting the growing influence of artificial intelligence in academia. Reflecting on India’s lost intellectual heritage during British colonization, he expressed pride that India is reclaiming its knowledge capital through institutions like RPNLU and other premier research bodies.
- Prof. Kshitij Kumar Singh (Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi) underscored the multi-dimensional nature of research. He urged scholars to embrace critical thinking, cultivate an analytical mindset, and approach research without bias. Stressing the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family), he emphasized that research should transcend boundaries and serve humanity at large. He also advised the judicious use of artificial intelligence as a tool, while advocating for selfless pursuit of knowledge.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri Satya Prakash, Registrar of RPNLU, who congratulated the scholars on joining this landmark academic journey.
