The petitioner through the medium of the present petition is challenging

FIR No. 15/2024 for commission of offences under Sections 147, 341, 323, 427

IPC registered with police station Pahalgam and the proceedings emanating

therefrom which are stated to be pending before the court of learned Additional

Special Mobile Magistrate, Pahalgam.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during the pendency

of the challan dispute between the petitioner and respondent No.2-Complainant

has been settled and a compromise has been arrived at between the petitioner and

respondent No.2. It has been submitted that in terms of compromise deed dated

12th of June, 2024, a copy whereof is on record, the complainant has undertaken

not to pursue the criminal proceedings against the petitioner.

Issue notice to the respondents.

Notice be sent to respondent No.1 through Mr. Illyas Nazir Laway, learned

Government Advocate. Notice to respondent No.2 through concerned police

station.

In the meanwhile, the proceedings in the impugned challan pending before

the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Pahalgam shall remain stayed. It is

further provided that the petitioner and respondent No.2 shall appear before this

Court in person on next date of hearing for recording their statements in support

of the Compromise Deed.
