This edition of Samvad will focus on Chapter 4 – “Does Consumer Irrationality Justify the War on Drugs?” from the book Self-Control or State Control? You Decide by Jeffrey Miron. The dialogue will explore the tension between state control and individual self-control, specifically in the context of the War on Drugs, through the lens of economics, ethics, and public policy.
