1. This appeal arises from the judgment and order passed by the
High Court of Calcutta dated 3-9-2015 in Arbitration Petition
No.1503/2015 by which the High Court dismissed the Arbitration
Petition seeking appointment of Arbitrator under Section 11(6) of
the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
2. The High Court thought fit to reject the Section 11(6)
petition on the ground that if a particular Arbitrator is indicated
in the arbitration agreement itself either by name or by
designation, the clause would thereof scarcely allow the parties to
chose the personnel of the arbitrator at a future date.
