Reason: the High Court seeking extension of time to vacate the

demised premises in terms of the Order dated 22.04.2025

passed by the High Court in CR No. 2379 of 2025. The said

order was passed by the High Court on a concession given

by the petitioner (who was present in the Court) that he

would vacate the demised premises within two months from

the said date. However, in view of certain intervening

circumstances, the petitioner felt a dire need for

extension of time to vacate the demised premises on

which, the subject application was filed which has been

dismissed by the High Court vide Order dated 29.05.2025.

3. Having heard and considered the submissions advanced

by the learned counsel for the petitioner, and in the

interest of justice, we hereby grant three months further

time to the petitioner from 22.06.2025 to vacate the

demised premises in question. This indulgence is being

granted subject to the condition that the petitioner

shall pay double the rent as assessed by the Courts

below, to the respondent till the vacation of the demised

premises. The petitioner shall furnish usual undertaking

before the Trial Court within two weeks from today.

4. The special leave petition is disposed of

accordingly.

5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand closed.
