01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and
learned counsel for the State.

2. The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in
connection with G.R. Case No.25 of 2024 pending in
the Court of learned SDJM, Sambalpur, arising out of
Sambalpur Town P.S. Case No.07 of 2024 for
commission of offence punishable under Sections
143
/341/506/294/283/354/307/353/189/149 of IPC
read with Sec. 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public
Property Act, 1984.

3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the
prayer.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel that the
co-accused has since been released on bail by order
dated 04.03.2024 by this Court in ABLAPL No.1791 of
2024. Hence, on the ground of parity, the Petitioner
seeks release.

5. Taking into account the nature of allegations
and the background in which the offence has been
committed, it is directed that on surrendering within
three weeks hence and moving for bail, the
Petitioners shall be released on bail by the learned
Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and
proper.

6. Before releasing the learned Court shall verify
as to whether this order has been assailed before the
Apex Court and if so, the result thereof.

7. It is needless to state that the Petitioners shall
cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

8. Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of.
