This Application has been filed by the applicant-

Shailendra Chauhan seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime

No.172 of 2025, registered at Police Station Jhabrera, District

Haridwar under Sections 420, 467, 471 & 120B of the Indian

Penal Code, 1860.

2. According to the First Information Report dated

23.05.2025, a sum of Rs.7,36,000/- (Seven Lakh Thirty Six

Thousand) was sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi

Sinchai Yojana for boring by Electric Water Pump. The applicant,

the Junior Engineer, and others violated the prescribed standards

of the scheme and misused the Government funds.

3. Heard Mr. V.S. Chauhan, learned counsel for the

applicant, Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, learned A.G.A. for the

respondent and Mr. Raj Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing

for the informant.

4. Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, A.G.A., on instructions, has

sought three weeks’ time to file objection to the anticipatory bail

application.

5. Mr. Raj Kumar Singh, Advocate has also sought three

weeks’ time to file his vakalatnama and objection to the

anticipatory bail application.

6. Time is granted.

7. Mr. V.S. Chauhan, Advocate contended that on

07.05.2021, the applicant submitted a proposal at the Minor

Irrigation Block, Haridwar and after local verification, the boring

installation work was carried out. Local farmers are benefiting

from the scheme. He has been falsely implicated in the present

matter.

8. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and

in the facts and circumstances of the case, as an ad-interim

measure, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the

applicant-Shailendra Chauhan, he shall be released on interim

bail on executing a personal bond of Rs.30,000/- and two reliable

sureties, each of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the

Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer, subject to the following

conditions:-

(i) Applicant shall cooperate with the Investigating
Agency and he shall make himself available for
interrogation by a police officer as and when required;

(ii) Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any
inducement, threat or promise to any person
acquainted with the facts of this case.

(iii) Applicant shall not leave the country without the
previous permission of this Court.

9. List on 21.07.2025 for hearing on the anticipatory bail

application.
