The applicant is in judicial custody in
FIR/Case Crime No.148 of 2024, dated 04.11.2024,
under Sections 3/4/5/6/7 of the Immoral Traffic
(Prevention) Act, 1956 and Sections 5/6 of the Protection
of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, Police Station
Kelakhera, District Udham Singh Nagar. He has sought
short term bail on the ground of the marriage of his
daughter scheduled on 19.01.2025.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and
perused the record.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant would
submit that the applicant’s daughter’s marriage is
scheduled on 19.01.2025.

4. Learned State Counsel, under instruction
confirms the marriage of the daughter of the applicant.
5. Without adverting further on any aspect of
the matter, purely on the humanitarian ground, this
Court is of the view that, the applicant may be granted
short term bail for a period of 07 days from the date of
his release.
6. Accordingly, the applicant shall be enlarged
on short term bail only for a period of 07 days from the
date of his release on his executing a personal bond and
furnishing two reliable sureties, each of the like amount
to the satisfaction of the court concerned. It is further
directed that, on expiry of 07 days, the applicant shall
surrender before the court concerned and intimation to
this effect shall also be given to this Court.
7. The short term bail application stands
disposed of, accordingly.
