The Police Sub-Inspector of R.T.Nagara Police
Station submitted charge sheet against accused for
the offences punishable under Section 188, 269, 270
of Indian Penal Code, Section 51, 53, 54 of Disaster
Management Act and Section 4 of The Epidemic
Diseases Ordinance Act, 2020.
2. Prosecution Case: On 22-05-2021 at about
9.30 p.m. while CW1 namely Sri Shashiprasad, ASI
of R.T.Nagara PS along with PC/CW2 namely Sri
Srisaila Valike, were on patrolling duty, they found
that accused had opened the provision store by name
and style ANS Store situated at 9 th Cross,
Dharamanna Garden and doing business in the said
store with the knowledge of spreading the infection of
Covid-19 and without following any rules and
regulations given by the State Government during the
pandemic of Covid-19 and disobeyed the order of
government.
