1. Being aggrieved by and dissatisfied with the judgment and order dated
28th June, 2022 passed by learned Special (CBI) Court Asansol, in (SPL)
case no. 37 of 2011, present appeal has been preferred by the Appellant. By
the impugned judgment and order, the court below convicted the appellant
herein to suffer simple imprisonment for one year for commission of offence
punishable under section 7 of The Prevention of Corruption Act. 1988
(hereinafter called as Act of 1988) and also directed to suffer one year simple
imprisonment for commission of offence punishable under section 13(2) of
the Act of 1988 and also sentenced to pay fine.
