Mr. D. Hynniewta, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
that instructions are still awaited from the petitioner.

However, in view of the affidavit filed on behalf of the State
respondents No. 1 and 2, bringing on record the Corrigendum dated 16 th
May, 2025, issued by the Joint-Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya,
Health & Family Welfare Department, wherein it has been clarified that the
designation mentioned as “Assistant Professor” may be read as “Associate
Professor” in the Department of Dentistry, nothing remains for
consideration in the matter.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed and disposed of.
