Heard Mr. J. Shylla, learned counsel for the petitioner, who has
submitted that the petitioner has approached this Court with the instant
application under Section 528 BNSS/Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking discharge
from a case being Sessions Case No. 21 of 2023 under Sections 307/392/34
IPC pending before the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, East Jaintia Hills
District, Khliehriat, wherein he was implicated as one of the accused persons
therein. The learned counsel also submits that prayer for discharge have been
made before the Trial Court which was rejected. Hence, this petition.
Ms. R. Colney, learned GA has accepted notice on behalf of all the
respondents and prays that this matter may be posted for hearing on the next
date. Prayer is allowed.
