1. The instant civil transfer application has been filed by the
petitioner-wife seeking transfer of Civil Case No.3/2024 “Ishu
Verma v/s Deepika” preferred by the respondent-husband u/s 13
of the Hindu Marriage Act, pending in the Additional District Judge
Sri Karanpur to Family Court, Sri Ganganagar.
2. Service is complete and Mr. Dishant Verma, learned counsel
appear for the respondent.
3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the
material available on record.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner wife-submitted that the
marriage between the petitioner-wife and respondent-husband
was solemnized as per the Hindu rites on 18.07.2021 and since
the petitioner-wife was treated cruely, harassed, maltreated, she
lodged an FIR bearing No. 33/2024 at Mahila Police Station Distt.
Sri Ganganagar for offences u/s 498-A, 406, 313, 323 of IPC, she
moved an application under Section 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22
and 23 of Domestic Violence Act, 2005 against the respondent
[2025:RJ-JD:23140] (2 of 3) [CTA-99/2024]
before the Competent Court at Sri Ganganagar which is still
pending adjudication.
