1. Petitioner herein inter-alia seeks issuance of appropriate writ,
order and / or direction commanding the respondents to consider
her candidature and accord her compassionate appointment in
[2025:RJ-JD:18234] (2 of 4) [CW-5211/2025]
place of her husband who died on 18.11.2023, while serving as
Constable.
2. Brief facts first. The husband of the petitioner, who was
working as Constable, died in harness on 18.11.2023. The
petitioner applied for compassionate appointment before the
competent authority, who in turn, passed an order dated
02.02.2024 desiring the requisite documents and information in
prescribed proforma for compassionate appointment.
2.1 Pursuant to aforesaid, the petitioner submitted her
application form in the prescribed proforma along with affidavit
and other required documents. Pursuant to the application, the
police department issued verification certificate on 13.03.2024
with good character. Thereafter, the Superintendent of Police,
Rajsamand issued an order dated 18.04.2024 for physical
verification before the Board on 29.04.2024 for the post of Junior
Assistant and she was declared fit.
