Mr. M.L. Nongpiur, learned counsel for the petitioners has
submitted that the merits of this case are identical and similar to the facts and
circumstances in WP(C) No. 343 of 2020 (Smti. J.G. Nongkynrih & 20 Ors v.
State of Meghalaya & Ors) pending before a coordinate bench of this Court,
and in which case, this Court had recused.

To maintain judicial discipline, the learned counsel submits that this
matter may also be taken up with the aforesaid case in the said coordinate bench
for convenience’s sake.

Ms. Z.E. Nongkynrih, learned GA appearing on behalf of the State
respondent has also concurred with the submission made by the learned counsel
for the petitioners.
