No.42/2023 dated 16.03.2023 registered at Police Station

Indora, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, for the offences

punishable under Sections 15, 21, 25 & 29 of the Narcotic

Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. His bail application

approached this Court. He has already undergone about 2 years

and four months in jail.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the

respondent-State.

Considering the period of incarceration of the petitioner

and the other relevant factor, we are of the opinion that a

case of bail is made out for the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on

bail forthwith on the usual terms and conditions to be decided

by the concerned Court.

The present petition shall stand disposed of in the above

terms along with pending application(s), if any.
