Sr. No. 43 2024:JKLHC-JMU:187 HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case: CRM(M) 675/2022 ...Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Mohd. Ashfaq & Ors. Through: None V/s UT of J&K & Anr. ... Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Bhanu Jasrotia, GA CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL, JUDGE ORDER

The petitioners, through the medium of this petition filed under
Section 482 of Cr.P.C, sought quashment of FIR No. 0127/2022 dated 04.09.2022,
registered with Police Station, Thannamandi, District Rajouri under Sections
452/354/323/147/504/506 IPC, which was registered at the instance of respondent
No. 2-Khalida Parveen.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties for a while and from the
perusal of the record, it is evident that the grounds urged in the petition are not
legally sustainable and do not make out any case for quashing of the FIR. The
challan has already been presented before the Competent Court and sufficient
material exists for the matter to proceed in accordance with the law. The
contentions raised in the petition are without merit and do not warrant interference
of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
Accordingly, this petition is dismissed, no case for quashing is made
out.
