Brief case of the prosecution:
1. The criminal law machinery was set into motion on 09.11.2016,
when DD no.13B was registered at PS Khajuri Khas, after Duty
Constable Bhopal, no. 1272/NE, posted at GTB Hospital had informed
that one Afsana W/o Nadeem aged about 25 years was admitted in the
hospital by her husband in an unconscious state and the concerned doctor
had declared her dead.
2. After registration of the DD no. 13B, Ex. PW7/A, IO SI Satyadev
Panwar reached the hospital along-with Ct. Lalit and obtained the MLC
no. 2820/2016, Ex. PW12/A, wherein, the deceased was declared to
be”brought dead”. The IO noticed the ligature marks on the neck of the
dead body and called the crime team to the hospital and the inspection
was conducted. The crime team photographer took the photographs of
the dead body. The dead body was taken into possession by the IO and it
was sent to GTB Hospital Mortuary through Ct. Lalit.
