1. The present petition has been filed under Section 378 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (‘CrPC’) seeking grant of
leave to challenge the judgment dated 25.02.2020 (hereafter “the
impugned judgment”) passed by the learned Additional
Sessions Judge (hereafter “Trial Court”), Shahdara District,
Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in Sessions Case No. 1010/2016
arising out of FIR No. 1111/2015, dated 07.08.2015 registered at
Police Station Seemapuri, whereby the learned Trial Court
acquitted the accused/ respondent for the offence under Section
354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’) and Section 8 of
the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act,
2012 (‘POCSO’).
