Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, ‘Cr.P.C.’) praying for quashing of FIR

No. 165 dated 22.05.2022 (P-1), under Sections 323, 341, 506 read with

Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, (for short ‘IPC‘) (307 IPC added

later on) registered at Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar Mohali

along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of

compromise dated 11.08.2023 (P-2), entered into between the parties i.e

petitioners as well as respondent Nos.2 and 3 & cross-version FIR No.166

dated 22.05.2022, under Sections 201, 341, 323, 324, 326, 307, 506, 427

and 148 read with Section 149 IPC registered at Police Station Dera Bassi,

District SAS Nagar, Mohali.

2. After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined

to accept the prayer, learned counsel for petitioners wishes to withdraw the

petition, “at this stage”.

3. Ordered accordingly.

4. Needless to say that above observations be not construed as an

expression of opinion on the merits of the case, in any manner.
