The petitioner was convicted and sentenced to 10 years
Reason: rigorous imprisonment by the Additional Sessions Judge,
Baihar, District Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh in Sessions Trial
No.122/2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 409,
467, 420 of the Indian Penal Code. His 3rd application for
suspension of jail sentence and grant of bail was dismissed by
the High Court under the order impugned. Being aggrieved, he
approached this Court. He has already undergone about 3 years
and 3 months in jail and his appeal is pending before the High
Court.
