[1] These matters have been taken up as supplementary item on
mentioning.
[2] Present Mrs. I. Lenibala, learned counsel for the petitioner and
Mr. Lenin Hijam, learned Advocate General assisted by Ms. Thanyomi
Keishing, learned counsel on behalf of the respondents.
[3] Mrs. I. Lenibala, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks some
time for taking instructions about the shifting of the school from the alleged
encroached area and till date, the impugned order dated 04-04-2025 be
stayed.
[4] Mr. Lenin Hijam, learned Advocate General for the respondents,
submits that in view of the provisions of The Specific Relief Act, 1963 under
Section 41 (ha) and the Schedule appended to the Act, no Court ought to
pass any stay or injunction restraining the State authorities from carrying out
any infrastructure project specified in the Schedule.

[5] However, in the interest of justice, status quo as on date be
maintained till the next date for the purpose of taking instructions.
[6] List these cases on 15-04-2025 in the motion column.
[7] Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel appearing for
